The King’s School, Ottery St Mary – New Catering Classroom

The project is the construction of a new catering classroom on the campus of The King’s School, Ottery St Mary.

The build consists of a new classroom, with a separate prep room and office. The classroom is complete with internal fit-out for practical-teaching and demonstration, including workspace, cooking appliances and sinks.

The project included the below methods of construction technologies:

• PCC beam and block floors
• Thermawood cladding
• Concrete profiled sheet roofing
• M&E Services & BMS Integration
• Mechanical ventilation
• Installing increased main utilities
• Safety vinyl flooring throughout
• Classroom fit-out (benching, workstations, cooking appliances, sinks and desks)
• Surface water attenuation drainage
• Retaining walls
• External works
